This is the official website of the Springfield Disc Golf Club (SDGC) located in Springfield, Illinois.
We hope you appreciate the new look and feel of the site and find it convenient and accessible. Please post any questions you may have about navigating this website in our SDGC forum.

The great success that we have enjoyed participating and promoting disc golf here in Springfield would not be possible if not for the generosity of our sponsors. And remember none of this explosion of participation in disc golf would have been possible without the Springfield Park District. Remember when you are on the courses, leave them in better condition than you found them. We encourage you to pick up trash along the way and deposit it in the containers provided all along the courses.
Joining the SDGC and participation in our 2009 Bag Tag Challenge is open to players of all skill levels.
If you have an interest in the game and what to get better at the sport we encourage you to join the club. If you are new to the game come on out and play along side experienced players who enjoy mentoring others.
If you are experienced and are seeking competition or want to measure your skills – you’ll find stiff competition within the core of the regulars.
Saturday Leagues move to back to Lincoln Park for the month of June. We begin at 10:00am. Come on out and join in the fun. Wednesday Leagues are back at Douglas starting at or around 6:00pm.
We will be looking forward to seeing you on the courses.
The Course Photos page is currently undergoing intensive construction in order to meet our goal of providing a quality virtual course tour experience so that players should be able to form a detailed idea of how the courses look before arrival, and use that to their advantage. We will be striving to chart out as accurately as possible the local geography in proximity to courses, amenities, travel arrangements, dining, other points of interest, etc. so that all the guesswork is removed and the experience of being a visitor in Springfield, Illinois is as seamless and independent as possible.
You are welcome to browse our forum. Feel free to register and join in the camaraderie that makes disc golf great. We have even included a category for the visitors to post information for our locals to view, be it tournaments from afar or useful tidbits we should be aware of. We value your input so post often!
Don’t forget to check out the Pro Shop. The SDGC shop is now open globally for the interested consumer. Finland is the farthest we have shipped a disc… additional postage might be necessary. Our club strives to offer the latest selection at competitive prices. Joining the SDGC entitles you to save 25% on majority of the merchandise in our inventory.
